About this opening
The King's Indian Attack is not a forcing line but a setup: White plays Nf3, g3, Bg2, O-O, d3 and Nbd2 against almost any defense, then pushes e4-e5 to attack on the kingside. Its clear plan makes it ideal for players who prefer understanding over theory. Bobby Fischer used it to devastating effect against the French and Sicilian, and Tigran Petrosian also adopted it.
