About this opening
The Korchnoi Attack (1.d4 f5 2.h3) quietly prepares the g4 push to contest the f5 pawn and open kingside lines, without committing as bluntly as the Krejcik Gambit. The idea is more cautious: White keeps the structure intact while preparing expansion. Black continues normal development. It is a flexible anti-Dutch, both cautious and venomous.
