About this opening

The Yugoslav Variation is the main line of the accepted Benko: after 7.e4 Bxf1 8.Kxf1, White gives up castling but keeps a solid pawn center and an extra pawn, the king finding safety on g2 after Nge2 and Kg1. Black continues the classic Benko queenside pressure. It is the typical clash between material and lasting positional activity.
